An exhibition about forgetting for SALT
Six rooms that degrade over the run of the show. Visitors in week one see a different exhibition to visitors in week twelve — by design, and without anyone touching it.

Archives are built to resist time. We wanted to build one that gave in to it.
Each room holds a projection whose source file is re-encoded once a night, compressing itself a little further every time. Over twelve weeks the images soften into colour fields. Nothing is deleted; everything is lost.
